Grapes on Gift Boxby ~cocoajoe

Traditional Art / Paintings / Still Life

This silky box was also at Macy's last Christmas 2006. It's a Dolce Gabbana Gift Box. I painted these as samples so people could see what I was offering for them. I think I painted 4 or 5 of these, and they were eventually sold later that day.

wow.... now i like your fruits too..maybe its just the grapes, but this is good, delicate vines. it looks like it's glowing...

I think it's because of the glare off of the camera...but I still love it...the box was amazing to paint on...kind of a silky very smooth texture.

Of course.....but when you are painting at Macy's and it's available...you use it!!! It wasn't really silk but sure had the texture
